For the Nordic Coffee Fest we asked some of our partners in crime coffee to send their favourite brewing recipes. For those who came to the fair the free printed brochure was available but worry not for those not in the NCF hood, we'll share all the recipes once a week here and on our Instagram @espressogear 

The last recipe couldn't be more special, it comes directly from home. Fredrik Gorthon is EG's CEO and a dinossaur in this coffee industry of ours. To know more about Espresso Gear... Just kidding.

                                                                  Fredrik is staring at you while you write the recipe down.

 

One of the most stylish and simple brewing methods available. The press creates a full bodied brew and is my favorite method. 

 

1. Grind 60g of coarse coffee
2. Pre-heat the press with warm water
3. Add coffee and about 93°C water
4. Stir to make sure all grounds are wet
5. Set timer for 3 minutes (No lid)
6. Now break the crust and stir lightly. Wait 20 seconds for the coffee to settle, place the lid, press and serve
